Notes: This is definitely a first for a carnival itinerary, but why the hell not right? The actual carnival is September 13th-16th but I wanted you all to have enough time to explore and relax, so jet-lag doesn’t completely kick your ass. Toronto to Shanghai and Tokyo

Where: Toronto to Tokyo, Japan

When: Monday, October 23rd - Sunday, November 5th

Note: There is a long layover both ways in Shanghai, don't stress, it will give you time to explore downtown Shanghai! You do not require a VISA since it is under 72hrs and there is a shuttle downtown from the airport for $5 CDN equivalent that takes under 30min. 


Flight: Toronto to Tokyo, Japan | October 23rd

$668.00 CDN; roundtrip

Stay: Apartment in Shanghai | October 24th - October 25th

Option 1: $78 + 15% tax = $89.70 CDNI stayed here! It's a BIG apartment all to yourself, 5 minute walk from where the airport shuttle drops you off, Close to shopping and temple, Has a bag drop for free

Stay: AirBnB or Hotel in Tokyo | October 25th - November 4th

Option 1: $518.00 CDN; Sleeping in a capsule, Shared bathroom, Good location
